Zarifa buying guide · Your showroom visit

A good massage chair consultation starts with a few details from home. Your room, the people who will use the chair and the controls you prefer give the comparison a clear purpose. Bring those details to Zarifa’s Murray showroom, then use the same notes for each chair you try.

What to bring

Bring a room sketch with measurements, photos of tight delivery-route turns, each user’s height, a short list of priorities and a place to record questions. Save the exact model names you want to compare. Before traveling, confirm the appointment and whether those chairs are available to demonstrate.

Make one useful note before you leave home

You do not need a polished floor plan or a long specification sheet. One notebook page or phone note can keep the important information together. Label measurements clearly, and distinguish a measurement you took from an estimate you still need to check.

01 · THE SPACE

Room and route

Record the available floor area, the narrowest clear openings and any turns, stairs or elevator access on the way to the room.

02 · THE PEOPLE

Individual fit

List who will use the chair, each person’s height and the seated-support or control questions each person wants to explore.

03 · THE PRIORITIES

Two things that matter

Choose two priorities, such as easy-to-reach controls and comfortable leg support. Keep optional extras in a separate list.

Photograph the parts a sketch cannot explain

Take a wide view of the intended room and a separate photo of each tight turn. Note where doors swing and which furniture will stay. For a doorway, measure the clear opening rather than the outside of the trim. A photo helps explain the layout; it does not replace a measurement or confirm that a delivery route will work.

Keep room size and seated fit as separate questions. A chair can occupy the available floor area without being comfortable for every person who shares it. If two people will use the chair, give each person a separate line in your notes rather than combining their preferences.

Prepare the room details

Bring measurements that answer the right question.

Our massage chair guide for small spaces explains upright and reclined footprints, clearance and delivery access. Use it to prepare your room note, then bring any unresolved measurements to the consultation.

Build a shortlist you can actually compare

Start with two models that address your priorities. Save their names and product-page links so you can return to the same details after the visit. A manageable shortlist leaves more room to notice differences in support, controls and movement than a quick sit in every chair.

The Z-Smart Pro provides a concrete model to discuss: compare seated support and control reach during a demonstration. This room image is illustrative; it does not show the Murray showroom or establish the clearance needed in your home.

Turn a specification into a question

For example, the Z-Smart Pro product page lists an upright size of 67 inches long × 32 inches wide × 47 inches high and a fully reclined size of 84 inches long × 32 inches wide × 32 inches high. Ask the specialist to review both positions against your room note.

Those are chair dimensions, not a complete installation envelope. Use the comparison and room fit guide to discuss the exact model’s rear clearance, leg movement and access around it. Ask which measurements apply during delivery; an assembled chair’s width alone does not settle whether every doorway and turn will work.

Choose your starting point

Save the models you want to discuss.

Browse the current massage chair collection for model details, colors, pricing and availability. Share your shortlist when arranging the visit so the team can confirm the demonstration options.

Use the same comparison record in each chair

Ask the specialist to explain the controls before you begin. Then compare the same practical tasks in each shortlisted model. Record what you noticed and what you want clarified. A useful note is specific: “I can reach this control while reclined” tells you more later than “this chair was nice.”

Copy this table into your notes, or use its questions as a checklist. Put the exact model name above each set of observations. If more than one person is trying the chairs, keep their answers separate.

Your two-chair demonstration record
Compare this Ask or observe in both chairs Record for Chair A and Chair B
Seated support Where do your shoulders, arms, calves and feet rest? Ask how the model’s adjustments work. What feels comfortable, what needs adjustment and what remains uncertain.
Control reach Can you see and reach the controls in the positions you expect to use? The controls you tried and any movement needed to reach them.
Changing a session Ask how to select a program, change available settings and stop the session. Which steps felt straightforward and which you want demonstrated again.
Recline and access Ask to see recline and the return to upright, following the specialist’s instructions. Leg position, ease of entering and leaving, and room questions raised by the movement.
Your two priorities Return to the two features you chose before arriving. Which model addresses each priority and any compromise you would be making.

Separate a preference from an unanswered question

Mark each note as “works for me,” “prefer the other chair” or “needs confirmation.” A setting you have not learned yet is different from a fit you dislike. Ask for a second explanation when needed, and avoid letting a long feature list outweigh the details that will shape your everyday use.

Leave with a clear follow-up record

Before finishing, turn unresolved points into specific questions. Write down who will confirm each answer and which model the answer concerns. This is especially useful if you need to remeasure a doorway or discuss the choice with someone who could not attend.

  • Exact choice: model, color and the current product-page link.
  • Room plan: upright and reclined dimensions, required clearances and anything you still need to measure.
  • Delivery: the configuration, access requirements and service available for your address.
  • Purchase terms: current shipping, return and warranty information for that product.
  • Next action: an answer to obtain, a photo to provide or a follow-up conversation to arrange.

Review the shipping policy and return policy before ordering. For optional white-glove delivery, ask which services apply to your address and model; do not assume assembly, packaging removal or other services are included. If payment arrangements need discussion, raise them before placing the order so the team can explain the current process.

Plan your Murray visit or a remote conversation

Zarifa USA’s showroom is at 465 W Century Dr, Murray, UT 84123. The showroom and consultation page offers a 60-minute showroom appointment, along with video and phone options. Book ahead or call (385) 645-0255 to confirm hours and the chairs you hope to compare.

For a video consultation, have the same room notes, route photos and model shortlist ready. A remote conversation can help explain features, measurements and delivery questions. Your notes should still distinguish what was demonstrated from seated comfort you have not experienced personally.

Showroom preparation questions

Do I need exact room measurements before booking?

You can begin with questions, but measured length and width make the discussion more useful. Label estimates honestly and plan to confirm them before ordering. Photos and a simple sketch help explain the space without requiring a professional floor plan.

Should everyone who will use the chair come along?

If practical, comparing each person’s seated experience can help. Otherwise, bring their height and preferences, and note which questions remain untested. One person’s comfort should not be treated as confirmation for everyone in the household.

Can I ask to try a particular model?

Yes—include the exact model name when contacting the team. Call ahead to confirm demonstration availability before making the trip. A product listed online is not, by itself, confirmation that it is ready to try during your appointment.

What if I am shopping from another state?

Use the phone or video consultation options to review your shortlist, room and delivery access. Keep the comparison record beside you, then use the current product pages to check the details before purchasing online.

Bring your notes. Leave with a clearer choice.

Start with the room, the people and two priorities. Use the visit to compare the details that matter to you, then confirm the practical next steps for your home.
